How do you package vinyl records for shipping?

We use heavy-duty, reinforced cardboard mailers specifically designed for vinyl to ensure your records arrive in pristine condition. For high-value or multi-disc orders, we add extra corner protection and stiffeners.

What is the difference between 'Signed' and 'Signed Edition' items?

Signed items are standard retail releases that have been hand-signed by the artist, often during in-store events or exclusive sessions. Signed Editions are specific versions of an album where the signature is part of the official product packaging, such as a signed insert or sleeve.

When will my pre-order be shipped?

Pre-orders are typically dispatched one day before the official release date to arrive as close to launch as possible. If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, the entire order will be held until the final pre-order item is available.

What is your return policy for opened media?

We accept returns on faulty or damaged vinyl and CDs within 30 days of purchase. However, we cannot accept returns for non-faulty items once the shrink-wrap has been removed or the seal has been broken.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on the destination and total weight of your order. Please note that international customers are responsible for any local customs duties or taxes.

Can I collect my online order in-store?

Absolutely. You can select the 'Click & Collect' option at checkout to pick up your order from any of our Assai Records physical locations. You will receive an email notification as soon as your items are ready for collection.
